Wintery showers have been given out and disruption is possible across the region
Met Office forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice which covers Nottingham and other parts of the East Midlands. Forecasters warn that a bout of snow may cause disruption across the region, with road closures and delays to travel possible.
"A small chance that untreated pavements and cycle paths become impassable. There is a slight chance that some rural communities could become cut off."The warning applies to the most of Nottinghamshire, though parts of south of the county, including areas on the Leicestershire border, remain unaffected.
