On Saturday, the Met Office says a period of strong winds is "likely to lead to some transport disruption". Sunday's forecast is similar, but with "prolonged periods of strong winds" which will likely lead to some disruption over the weekend, especially to travel.In advice to the public, a spokesperson for the Met Office warned:
Meanwhile, today's forecast gives for a colder day than of late, particularly where exposed to northwest winds.
