Mild weather is set to continue
Greater Manchester is set for a pleasant weekend as October draws to a close. The region has seen plenty of sunshine and mild weather in recent days.
And while November is just around the corner, that pattern is set to continue, according to the Met Office. A bright morning will be followed by sunny intervals throughout the afternoon today . Temperatures could reach highs of 16C in areas including Manchester, while other parts of the region will see figures hit 13C to 15C. Clouds are expected to gather this evening, before some light rain from 10pm in most areas.Some areas including Bolton and Wigan could see heavy rain around 9pm and 10pm. Temperatures will fall to around 5C for most in the region, with a low of 4C in Oldham overnight.
And in the early hours, the clocks will go back for one hour with the end of British Summer Time. Sunday will see more sunny spells in the morning and afternoon. A high of 11C or 12C is expected across the region, according to the Met Office. Light rain is expected to arrive on Sunday evening, which could turn heavier in some areas by 10pm, including Manchester. A low of 7C will follow heading into Monday, which is currently forecast for rain.
