Fingers crossed
Nottinghamshire has endured a wide range of weather on Easter Monday, April 10, with thunder, hail, torrential rain and blue skies all being reported. The changeable weather is due to continue throughout this week - with some wintry showers even being forecast for Wednesday, April 12.
Temperatures for April usually come out at around 10C for England. The Met Office issues long-range forecasts all the time, with the caveat that the weather is notoriously difficult to predict with much certainty into the future. "Further into the period, the trend is towards less unsettled weather more widely, with increasing drier spells. Probably feeling quite pleasant in sunshine by day, but some chilly nights."
