From midweek, the remnants of Hurricane Kirk, which is currently in the Atlantic, has the potential to bring disruptive rain and wind across northwest Europe
A Met Office map has indicated which regions of the UK might be 'at risk' from the remnants of Hurricane Kirk next week. The tail end of the storm is expected to bring heavy wind and rain to parts of England, Wales, and Scotland early next week as it crosses the Atlantic towards Europe.
Deputy Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, Chris Bulmer, commented: "Kirk over the North Atlantic will lose its status as a hurricane early next week before being swept towards northwest Europe."
