Here we go again
Met Office forecasters are predicting more thunder storms could hit Nottinghamshire on Sunday, July 9. Storms on Saturday, July 8, caused torrential flooding in some areas of the county, including in Beeston where residents needed wellies to get around.
The Met Office is now now predicting storms could arrive in the county over three hours. There is a 60 percent chance of thunder and lightning at 3pm and 4pm, according to the latest forecast. It could then strike again at 7pm, with a 50 percent chance, according to the outlook. Despite the forecast, there is currently no weather warning in place for the area.
There are, however, yellow thunder warnings for parts of Northern Ireland, along with a separate warning covering parts of south west England and south Wales.1pm: Cloudy, 21C6pm Sunny intervals, 21C11pm Partly cloudy, 17C
