Temperatures are likely to drop this week with some snow forecast in some parts of the region
Greater Manchester, along with the rest of the UK, will see temperatures plummet over the coming week with snow readily on the horizon, the Met Office has said.
A yellow weather warning of snow has been forecast for parts of the north east and Scotland for Monday and Tuesday - but it currently does not include Greater Manchester. In the north west this weekend, it's likely to remain fairly cloudy, with some clear spells which might lead to slight frost. It’s expected to stay dry, though some showers are possible by morning, perhaps turning wintry on the hills. It’s likely to feel cold with a minimum temperature of 2C across the region.
