Pollen levels will be high across Yorkshire again this weekend
The Met Office has issued a warning for hayfever sufferers across Yorkshire as pollen levels rise across the county this weekend.
Pollen levels will remain high on Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11, before some relief comes for hay fever sufferers as levels reduce to ‘moderate’ on Monday, August 12.The meteorologists are warning that weed pollen will be the main culprit behind the levels increasing. In the pollen forecast for Yorkshire on Friday, August 9, a spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Weed pollen includes nettles & mugwort. A little grass pollen.
The weather forecast for the remainder of the weekend, according to the Met Office, is: “Early cloud and rain clearing Saturday to sunny spells and isolated showers. Mostly dry but becoming warmer and more humid on Sunday and Monday. Thunderstorms possible Monday.”
