The category two hurricane has maximum sustained winds of 155km per hour
The Met Office has issued a warning that the weather in the UK could be significantly affected by Hurricane Ernesto, which is currently en route to Bermuda.

The Met Office has explained that the UK's current weather split is due to the jet stream having two branches - one near northern Scotland and one near southern England.
Sunday is expected to bring similar conditions, before unsettled weather begins at the start of next week.
