Met Office weather forecast hour by hour for every Greater Manchester borough as heavy snow is set to hit
A wave of National Severe Warnings for snow and ice have been issued across the regions with the Met Office warning of cold and unsettling weather patters spreading across the country. Cold air from the north will make its way south across the country, bringing snow, ice, and extremely cold temperatures for many.
A yellow warning for snow and ice is also in force on Thursday and will last well into Friday night. Forecasters say although we’ve moved into meteorological spring there will be a distinctly wintry feel to our weather' this week.Throughout Thursday, it's advisable to wrap up warm if you go out. Furthermore, if you are in a group that is vulnerable to cold weather conditions then the UKHSA advises you stay inside throughout the day and ensure that your house is kept suitably warm.
