Police are investigating after former actor Laurence Fox received widespread criticism for sharing an upskirting photograph of broadcaster Narinder Kaur online without her consent. The former actor posted the explicit image of Kaur on X without her consent on Wednesday evening in a row over their differing political views and opinions.
Fox, 45, caused outrage after he posted the now-deleted image to his X account alongside the caption: “It’s not my fault she forgot to put her pants on”.The former actor, who attempted to enter politics by founding the Reclaim Party, responded: “I don’t take the photo and I didn’t forget to put my pants on. Jog on.”She also said: “I know people are saying not to feel embarrassed and mortified but I am. I’m so incredibly upset that people are looking at my privates and laughing.
The law, under the Voyeurism Act 2019, applies to anyone who operates equipment or records an image under another person’s clothing without that person’s consent, with the intention of viewing, or enabling another person to view, their genitals.
