Rhianan Rudd, 16, took her own life in May 2022, months after terror charges had been dropped.

MI5 was monitoring a teenager who took her own life after being groomed by a far-right American extremist and arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences, an inquest has heard.

She was detained in October 2020 for downloading a bomb-making manual and charged with various offences the following April. "MI5 did not take the decision to arrest or charge, or the subsequent decision to discontinue the prosecution."A full inquest is set to start from 26 February next year, and is currently estimated to last for about three weeks.
