Bethea’s announcement comes a few weeks after Miami landed commitments from No. 50 prospect Austin Swartz and No. 134 prospect Isaiah Johnson-Arigu.Bethea — a 6-foot-4, 170-pound prospect from Archbishop Wood outside of Philadelphia — is arguably the best shoot-making prospect in the country. Bethea has an unlimited range and can consistently make shots via catch-and-shoot, off-the-dribble or off-ball actions.
Bethea and Swartz will be one of the best freshmen duos in the 2024-25 season from an entertainment standpoint and a winning one. Not to mention, current four-star freshman center Michael Nwoko will be a force to be reckoned with as a sophomore.
