Robson and Beale will square off at Ibrox and the Dons boss knows all about the trials and tribulations of a rebuild.
Barry Robson has every sympathy for what Michael Beale has faced this season but has warned he will get no favours from his Aberdeen team today.
“We know how difficult that is because you have the European games, a lot of travelling and you don’t get a lot of time to work on the training pitch. It is more game, recover and game. It is never easy. They have really good players and we know they are a very good team.” The good thing from an Aberdeen point of view is they are now looking solid defensively. The likes of Richard Jensen, Stefan Gartenmann and Slobodan Rubezic are all coming together and Robson knows how important that base will be at Ibrox. He also knows his team has the character to go to Govan and do well.
