Michael Carrick says Lewis O'Brien will offer Middlesbrough something different to what the team currently has following his arrival from Nottingham Forest.
The 24-year-old joined the Championship team on a season-long loan after becoming surplus to requirements at the City Ground. He becomes Carrick's 10th summer signing with the transfer window set to slam shut tomorrow . Speaking about the midfielder, Carrick said: "Lewis has tasted success before and we’re delighted to have him on board. However, the midfielder is unlikely to be the last player to depart the City Ground before the window closes. Following the arrival of five players this summer, more incomings and outgoings are expected.
