Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former attorney who testified against him in his hush money trial, spoke out Saturday night after the former president was shot at during a rally.Cohen shared a photo of the aftermath of the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, along with a brief statement on X, formerly Twitter.
He pleaded guilty in August 2018 to charges of tax evasion, making false statements to a federally insured bank, and campaign finance violations.In December 2018, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison, fined $50,000, ordered to forfeit $500,000, and paid more than $1.3 million in restitution to the IRS.During the hush money trial earlier this year, Cohen was called by the prosecution as a key witness and celebrated Trump's conviction.
