In the interview, Taj Jackson, the singer’s nephew, said he spent a substantial amount of time at Neverland as a child and took part in the infamous slumber parties there.“I'm not oblivious to what is sounds like. When you're there in the atmosphere and you're around it and are watching movies with the kids, it's innocent.“I think the fault of my uncle was he just - he didn't have that bone in his body to look at it the other way.
“My uncle gave letters that all the time to people he cared about and there was nothing salacious about it. He even did it to fans,” he said.Interviewer Gayle King said “did any of you speak to him at any time about that” and did any of them think it “odd” that Jackson “would have slumber parties with young children”.
