Wade Robson, 41, and James Safechuck, 46, claim Michael Jackson raped them as children and they've now launched a new civil court bid to get his police records unsealed.
Nude photos of Michael Jackson could be released for the world to see after two men who claim he abused them as children sought to unseal court records.
As part of the lawsuit Jade subpoenaed the records from the Santa Barbara County District Attorney, the Los Angeles County District Attorney and the Los Angeles Police Department in 2024, but the court denied his request in 2018. Police investigating allegations of sexual assault will sometimes ask accusers for detailed descriptions of their alleged attacker's private parts and bodies to try to uncover any unique physical features which may corroborate claims. A motion to quash the four subpoenas, which was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday.
Robson and Safechuck's allegations were detailed in the controversial 2019 HBO documentary Leaving Neverland. Safechuck claimed he was abused from 1988 to 1992, starting when he was about 11 years old and Robson from 1990 to 1996, starting when he was about eight. However, in 2013, he filed his first lawsuit against Jackson's estate claiming he defended the singer due to “complete manipulation and brainwashing”.
