Michael Jordan named four NBA players he believes could have played in his era of basketball. He included Kobe Bryant , LeBron James, Tim Duncan, and Dirk Nowitzki. Jordan retired from the NBA in 1993, but returned to the Bulls in 1995. He retired again in 1998, before making a final comeback with the Washington Wizards in 2001. Duncan and Nowitzki both played against Jordan during their careers.
Duncan played for the San Antonio Spurs from 1997 to 2016, while Nowitzki spent 21 years with the Dallas Mavericks, becoming the longest-serving player for a single franchise in NBA history. Bryant played for the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years before retiring. He tragically died in a plane crash in 2020. James is the only one of the four still playing in the NBA today.
