Michael Medwin, who starred in BBC detective drama Shoestring dies aged 96
ACTOR Michael Medwin who starred in the BBC detective drama Shoestring has died at the age of 96.
Medwin, who also appeared in movies with Michael Caine, Sean Connery and Albert Finney, died in hospital in Bournemouth.Alongside Finney, he also produced such films as Lindsay Anderson’s If…., O Lucky Man! and Charlie Bubbles. Paying tribute, theatre producer David Pugh tweeted: “To Michael thank you for everything I’m going to miss you so much x”
