Dr Mosley, who was known for his TV appearances, as well as creating the 5:2 diet, went missing on the Greek island of Symi on Wednesday, June 5. He had gone out for a hike alone and when he hadn't returned some six hours later, his wife Dr Clare Bailey Mosley reported his disappearance to Greek authorities.
According to reports, footage found by a beach bar at Agia Marina shows what appears to be the TV doctor making his way down a rocky slope close to a fence before he falls out of view. And now reports suggest a coroner in Rhodes estimated Dr Mosley to have died at around 4pm on Wednesday. According to Greek media, Dr Mosley may have taken a tragic final rest just a few yards away from the safety of a restaurant, Entertainment Daily has reported. The autopsy, an ED article continues, "shows that it doesn't appear Dr Mosley sustained any injuries that indicate criminal activity". An exact cause of death has not yet been given.
