Michael Owen couldn't contain his excitement as Darwin Nunez secured all three points for Liverpool on Sunday
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen couldn't contain his excitement at Darwin Nunez's last-gasp winner against Newcastle United - insisting he knew the Reds would come from behind.
Nunez, who arrived at Anfield for £64m last summer, was sent on in the 77th minute and was instant with his impact as he latched onto a mistake from Magpies defender Sven Botman before arrowing an effort past Nick Pope into the far corner. Owen, who scored 159 goals for Liverpool between 1996 and 2004, was covering the game for Premier League Productions and footage that has since gone viral online shows the 2001 Ballon D'or winning lapping up Nunez's match-winning strike on Sunday afternoon.
