Ethan Crumbley’s parents entered not guilty pleas to each of the four involuntary manslaughter counts against them during a hearing held on Zoom.
The parents of a teenager charged with killing four students at a Michigan high school have pleaded not guilty to four counts of involuntary manslaughter.This was hours after police said they had been caught hiding in a commercial building in Detroit.

The Crumbleys’ attorney, Shannon Smith, said the pair had left town earlier in the week ‘for their own safety’ and would be returning to Oxford to face charges.He added: ‘This isn’t indicative of turning yourself in – hiding in a warehouse.’
Ethan, 15, emerged from a toilet with a gun, shooting students in the hallway, investigators said. He has been charged as an adult with murder, terrorism and other crimes.
