Mick Jagger to have ‘heart surgery’ after postponing Rolling Stone tour on doctor’s orders
The star, who was advised by doctors he’s expected to make a full recovery before getting back on stage, was spotted recuperating and relaxing in Miami with his family.The father-of-eight could be seen playing with his son Deveraux on a beach,The dad and son duo were joined by the rocker’s girlfriend Melanie Hamrick and his daughter Georgia May.
All four members of the Jagger clan appeared to be in high spirits as they made the most of the sunny weather. At the time of the band’s announcement, the group released a statement which read: ‘Unfortunately today the Rolling Stones have had to announcement the postponement of their upcoming US and Canada tour dates.
‘We apologise for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows but wish to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly.‘Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment.
‘The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.’
