Microsoft and community release scripts to help mitigate Defender mess
Techies are fearing the worst in efforts to recover from Microsoft's bug laden Defender for Endpoint pre-weekend rollout after updates removed icons and applications shortcuts from Windows 11 and 10 desktop, Taskbar and Start Menu., forcing Microsoft to issue Advanced Hunting Queries and a PowertShell script the following day in a bid to help spot and recover applications.
