Microsoft is reportedly set to announce thousands of layoffs on Wednesday. The Xbox maker is said to be considering cutting roughly 5% of its workforce
is also reporting that Microsoft intends to cut jobs in a number of engineering divisions on Wednesday.
While the scale of the cuts is unclear, a source said to be familiar with Microsoft’s plans told the publication that the number of layoffs would be significantly greater than other rounds made by the company over the past year.
