The collapse of the 777 Partners deal has sparked interest in Everton from investors including US businessmen, local supporters and a Middle Eastern Royal
Potential new owners of Everton are waiting on the decision of Farhad Moshiri as they plot for the future of the club.
A consortium backed by a Middle Eastern royal is among the bids for Everton being weighed up by Moshiri, who has been in talks over a proposal that is being fronted by London-based businessman Vatche Manoukian and understood to be supported by a Gulf royal alongside other investors, including from the US.
Manoukian is said to have followed Everton for some time and to have attended Blues matches. His offer is centred on a vision that pitches the club as a sleeping giant that can be reawoken with the right expertise and backing. An outline proposal was submitted late last week after discussions between the Manoukian and Moshiri camps and finer details would be thrashed out during a period of exclusivity, should Moshiri seek to go down that route.
