Mike and Sharon Hargrove entertained a packed crowd at the annual Hot Stove Banquet in Akron.
Hargrove began his career with Texas and also played for San Diego and Cleveland.CLEVELAND, Ohio – Mike and Sharon Hargrove met as youngsters in school. He was coming out of football practice and she was playing basketball. He turned to a buddy and asked, “Who’s that blonde down there? She’s not good, but she’s sure having a good time.”
That was the beginning of a lifetime together. And Saturday night, the couple - armed with memories, a dry sense of humor and the soft lilt of their northern Texas accents that have never left them – entertained a packed crowd at the Akron RubberDucks’ annual Hot Stove Banquet at the Hilton Garden Inn.
