Though Miles’ terrifying and monstrous transformation was crucial to saving the world in Blood Hunt, it’s still a devastating development for the character. Miles’ bloodlust was kept under control fairly quickly, but it seems he will have trouble keeping his cool as he deals with his new vampiric status quo.

Earlier in his solo series, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Miles teamed up with Blade and his daughter Bloodline to stop another vampire who sprang back up during the crossover event. The friendship between Spider-Man and Bloodline and their connection was pivotal to the heroes’ success during Blood Hunt.
