Speaking to Harper's Bazaar , Cyrus, 32, revealed she had reached out to Roan after she posted the incendiary video. She said: 'I wish people would not give her a hard time. It’s probably really hard coming into this business with phones and Instagram''This is a lady you don't know and she doesn't know you at all.
'For the past 10 years I’ve been going non-stop to build my project and it’s come to the point that I need to draw lines and set boundaries.' Roan further explained that she was, 'specifically talking about predatory behavior that has become normalized because of the way women who are well-known have been treated in the past.'
'Part of me hopes I never have a hit again because then no one will ever expect anything from me again,' the star said.
