“Flowers” broke the all-time record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart months ago, and since then, it’s managed to add significantly to its total. The second-longest-running leader on the tally remains Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You.” That cut spent 36 weeks atop the list between 2018 and 2019.
