Billy Ray has a son from a previous relationship and adopted Tish's two children, Brandi, 37, and Trace, 35, when they married. The Nobody's Perfect singer famously left her father out of her acceptance speech — only mentioning mom Tish, sister Brandi and her team — as she won her first-ever Grammy Award earlier this year.
The Prisoner hitmaker, 31, took to X to uploaded a behind-the-scenes photo of herself and Tish, 57, from a recent Gucci party in Los Angeles; pictured at Gucci party on July 18 'Without my dad, I know … who I am as a person wouldn't exist. Because my dad as a creative and like, as an artist, and the way his brain works has always made me feel safer in my own mind.'A source previously told DailyMail.com in June that Miley felt 'vindicated knowing that she was right about Firerose the whole time.'

She was 22, and Billy Ray was 48 and starring alongside Miley on the Disney Channel hit show, Hannah Montana, at the time. Earlier this month she filed a motion to retrieve property, claiming her estranged husband has refused to let her return to the home to remove her belongings. The two later agreed she could come collect the rest of her things on May 29, however those plans fell through because Firerose had been in the process of changing lawyers at the time.
'This arrest was something that Mr. Cyrus was unaware of and because had previously lied and concealed things about her life before Mr. Cyrus, his counsel, began looking further into statements,' the documents state. In his divorce petition Billy Ray cited Firerose's 'inappropriate marital conduct' as cause and sought an annulment due to 'fraud,' the nature of which court documents do not detail.
