The celebrity world is full of unexpected connections and surprise friendships - and the reasoning behind one of arguably the most peculiar kinships has today been revealed, leaving fans baffled.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, the Netflix superstar - who plays lead character Eleven on the 1980s sci-fi hit - explained: "I'm a huge fan of TOWIE and I was doing press in LA, saw him [Mark] and introduced myself." After launching a career in the States, Mark has interviewed a whole host of major celebrities - including Millie - as well as Kim Kardashian, Margot Robbie and the late Olivia Newton John.
