Luke now hopes to use his success and strength to raise vital funds for local youth centres

A businessman from Preston who managed to start and sell off his first company at the age of 17 says as a child, "money was not only tight, it was simply out of the question."

"Every evening, weekend and school holiday we used to go to INTAG where they would take us out on trips, we used to play pool all day and they would provide us with food," He said. "We were like many families living on a council estate. My mum struggled and we had a lot of time on our own so we were just figuring life out as we went along," Luke added. "The centre gave my mum a bit of freedom too and time to herself."

This then paved the way to what he has now, Vibe Tickets, a business so successful, it saw the mogul be featured on Forbes' '30 Under 30' list in 2018. Luke says once he got a taste of working hard for money, he thought non-stop abut ways he could launch a more substantial sized company. "I’m very proud of what I have achieved but I realised I’d sacrificed my entire 20's to focus on building my business. I had to acknowledge that I hadn’t really achieved any of my personal goals.

Inspire Youth Zone, a children’s charity located in Chorley, is a safe space for young people aged 8 to 19 . Like the centre Luke used as a child, Inspire is open when schools are shut and provide a range of activities alongside hot nutritious meals, and ultimately work to transform young lives.
