Saturday morning. They stopped at the Indiana Convention Center to grab everything they needed for the race and to check out their competition.
"I think I'm going to get a better time than both of my parents and my brother," said runner Landon Bell."The month of May is just awesome. There's so much going on in the city right now," said runner Zach Foley. In addition to the Mini-Marathon, the May schedule includes the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs, the Indiana Fever's season getting underway with No. 1 draft pick Caitlin Clark and, of course, the Indianapolis 500 on May 26."I just consider Indianapolis as the event city. It brings everyone together. Everybody considers it 'Naptown,' but I sincerely believe it's not Naptown, because there's always so much in the city," said Foley.
