Take a dip...Italian wellness specialist Kos presents the latest mini pools by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, and also showcases its full collection of sculptural mini pools and outdoor tubs through a series of evocative images that bring the rigorous and minimalist designs into a dreamy atmosphere.
Long-term collaborators of the brand, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba have created multiple designs for Kos , covering every aspect of the bathroom suite with their distinctively rational minimalism. Imagined for the outdoors, from to terraces, but suitable for indoor spaces as well, these pools are a fitting example of the Palombas’ sleek and well-considered aesthetic.For Kos, the Palomba-designed ‘Minipool’ is ‘a veritable informal living room for time spent relaxing and recharging the body and mind’. Originally conceived in 2012, its round design fits up to five people seated comfortably, and is equipped with powerful hydro massage jets.
The pools are immersed in a series of landscapes created by studio Newnewnew; the imaginary scenes in the images reference the dark, volcanic earth of Lanzarote, and a misty morning in an Icelandic lagoon. Demonstrating how these pools are at ease in any location, the settings also include a brutalist garden in the Mexican jungle and a deck facing a hilly landscape covered in Scottish heather.
