It’s been revealed that truck drivers will be caught up in the government’s industrial relations shakeup, which wasn’t flagged by the Employment and Workplace Relations Minister Tony Burke. Mr Burke has introduced the bill to the House of Representatives and confirmed that he wants to create minimum standards for truck drivers across Australia. The Fair Work Commission is expected and proposed to get additional powers.
