An MRI scan on Monday confirmed he had torn his Achilles and would require surgery, all-but certainly ruling him out of the rest of this campaign. Cousins is the second high-profile quarterback to suffer an Achilles injury this season, with four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers lasting just four plays on his New York Jets debut in early September.
