A"Miss Hitler" contest entrant accused of being a neo-Nazi terrorist discussed becoming a"martyr" with her boyfriend, a court has heard.
Alice Cutter, 22, raised the subject in a text exchange with her boyfriend, Mark Jones, 24, jurors at Birmingham Crown Court heard on Wednesday. The pair, both from Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire, deny being members of National Action after it was outlawed in December 2016. The court heard that on the day after Valentine's Day in 2017 Cutter told Jones in a message:"Can't think of anybody better to attempt to carve out an existence with, even if the West is utterly f*****."
Jones, a joiner, replied:"Ride the tiger. Don't over think it, as their whole world view is self-defeating in the end.Cutter, a waitress, said:"I understand, it's just I'm really not keen on becoming a martyr and leaving kids behind or having them suffer too.
