Miss Nude Australia competitor disqualified after botched strip show fire routine sets a curtain alight
A PERFORMER in the Miss Nude Australia competition has been disqualified after setting alight a stage curtain and triggering the club's evacuation.
Harley Van Dangerfield was performing at the Crazy Horse Revue in Adelaide for the first heat of this year's event when she lit a "ring of fire" around herself.Credit: InstagramShe lit the fire by squirting a flammable substance onto the floor, but is thought to have left the bottle to close to the flames.
Ms Dangerfield was representing South Australia, and had been the second of seven women due to take to the stage. The rest of the show was cancelled, but the remaining performers have been added to tonight's second heat."To all the competitors and the management team, it was an accident.The Adelaide club has since made light of the incident, including fire emojis in a Facebook post advertising the second night of the competition.: "It appears that there was an incident last night involving a small fire and a curtain and that that was extinguished before MFS arrived.
