Police enquiries have revealed Alexander Marshall was last seen around 7.54pm in Main Street, Coatbridge on Wednesday carrying a red and blue carrier bag, possibly a Home Bargains bag.

A vulnerable 75-year-old man with dementia, who has been missing for three days without his medication, may have headed towards a reservoir in Lanarkshire.

Officers are reviewing a wide range of CCTV from where he was last seen to establish where he headed from there. Inspector Allan Corson said: "Naturally, Alex’s family are extremely concerned for his safety and wellbeing, particularly given his age and the length of time he has been missing, and we want to trace him as soon as possible.
