The search for the 19-year-old on the island has entered its fourth day
Missing Jay Slater's stepdad has revealed he had to be 'talked into going' to Tenerife by his pals before his disappearance. .
Speaking from the family home in Oswaldtwistle, Jay's stepdad Andy Watson revealed the teenager had been reluctant to go abroad. Jay travelled to Tenerife earlier this month to attend the three-day NRG music festival. The last reported contact anyone had with Jay was at around 8.50am on Monday morning when he spoke to his friend Lucy. She said that Jay had told her he had missed the bus and was planning on walking back to their apartment.
