Chloe Wilson, the daughter of missing 48-year-old Stuart Wilson, is appealing to the public for help in tracing her father who vanished last Saturday. Stuart's social media accounts and phone have been deactivated, raising concerns for his welfare. Police are searching the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire areas, and Chloe has shared posts on social media asking for anyone with information to come forward.
The daughter of a missing man from Motherwell has shared a desperate plea to the public to help trace her dad who vanished last week.
Chloe and the rest of the family are particularly concerned for Stuart's welfare, as he has reportedly deactivated his social media accounts and switched off his mobile phone since he was last seen. "It's been such a hard time for our family and if only dad could see how many people care about him. Please keep your eye out for him and sharing his face about. If you have Ring doorbells please check them. If you see him phone police with case number or get in touch with me or anyone tagged."
Extensive police enquiries later revealed he may have travelled to Ayr, after a possible sighting at a petrol station on Hillfoot Road, on the outskirts of the town, at around 4pm. The flyers also read: "Several things have his family extremely concerned for his welfare, all of which are out of character for him".
