Police officers confirmed nine-year-old Austin McGovern who vanished from Dunbar, East Lothian, last night has been traced.
Austin was last seen near Rowan Street, shortly after 7pm on Friday evening.
He was due to return home from Rowan Street to Summerfield Road, but when he failed to show up, the police were notified. Police said earlier today concerns were growing for his welfare and urged anyone with any information about his whereabouts to come forward.Superintendent Arron Clinkscales said : “We are pleased to confirm that Austin has been traced and his family have been updated.
