Nina tries to help While Roy Cropper has been out of prison for a few weeks now in Coronation Street, things haven’t really got any easier for him. Roy was put in prison shortly after Lauren Bolton went missing. Because the police didn’t believe his very honest statement about helping Lauren out, Roy was sent away and very nearly told he would spend the rest of his life behind bars for a murder he did not commit.
