Raegan Revord as Missy in Young Sheldon

Iain Armitage's Sheldon may have been the center of The Big Bang Theory prequel's attention when it started, but as it evolved its storytelling, other members of the Coopers started to become prominent players in the story. Sheldon's siblings, in particular, are now fan favorites on their own.
I would love to I definitely want to. I've said this a few times. But comedy, it's very easy to be pigeonholed into. And so I do want to explore the options. I'm the type of person that I can see myself acting in any type of genre: drama or sci fi, whatever. So I do want to explore the options and see what else is out there. But I love Missy dearly. She's the first big character I've played and I felt I fell in love with her right off the bat from the audition.
As Young Sheldon's story continues in a way with Georgie and Mandy's spinoff, Missy would have been the perfect addition to the spinoff. Unfortunately, as Revord herself revealed, she wasn't invited to be part of the upcoming show. Aside from the titular couple, none of the remaining Coopers will be series regulars in the new CBS endeavor, but it doesn't mean that they won't be appearing as guest stars. This is the best chance for Revord to step back into the shoes of Missy.
