Does a sluggish start warrant serious cause for concern or will a few bad weeks be a forgettable footnote when we’re 70 games into the season? As has been his style, he’s succeeding by generating soft contact. Pérez has generally been a strong starter, with April and May being the best months over the course of his career, so this tracks.
