Josh Inglis finds the betting edges in pitching props markets today, with Walker Buehler and Ronel Blanco highlighting his best bets.
Josh Inglis has combed through the odds and starting pitcher matchups to drum up the best angles related to starters on today's MLB slate, including a look at Dodgers righty Walker Buehler's walks allowed market.Angles, edges, scams, call them what you want, if you're betting pitcher props early, there are always a handful if you dig into the matchups.
THE BAT projects 5.93 hits on 90 pitches and that pitch count might be a little high. He doesn't have an outs market listed, which is telling. Some books are sitting at 5.5 with plus money to the Under, which isn't a bad move either. I'll take a massive total of 6.5 at a decent price, but it does set up an Under ladder for ourmade his season debut last week vs. the Twins and allowed a whopping nine hits with just one punchout over a decent leash of 82 pitches and 14 outs.
His outs market is tough to swallow at -150 for Under 15.5 but he projects for 14.7 outs on 85 pitches. His Over 2.5 earned runs at even money at DraftKings projects well but I'm rolling with the Under 5.5 Ks at -105. He projects for 5.27 punchouts and it's always tough to judge a possible shorter leash with a drop in quality but the Ks market is the safer of the two. Final line: 15 outs, 4 K, 4 ER.
