“Provincial buses coming from North Luzon shall terminate their trips at the bus terminals in Cubao, Quezon City. Provincial buses coming from South Luzon shall terminate their trips at the bus terminals in Pasay City,” the agency said in an advisory.
Provincial buses will be allowed to return to EDSA to cater to the expected surge of passengers amid the holiday season, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Thursday evening.
According to the MMDA, the buses can traverse the major thoroughfare starting December 24, 2022 to January 2, 2023 to reach their terminals and accommodate more travelers who are going home to their respective provinces. “Provincial buses coming from North Luzon shall terminate their trips at the bus terminals in Cubao, Quezon City. Provincial buses coming from South Luzon shall terminate their trips at the bus terminals in Pasay City,” the agency said in an advisory.
“This is to allow the provincial buses to accommodate the expected influx of passengers going to the provinces for the holiday season and ensure the convenience and comfort of the commuters,” the MMDA added.
