The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has received 20 motorcycles, 100 training vests, 25 cases of mineral water, and a tent from Joyride Philippines in support of the agency’s Motorcycle Riding Academy.
“You can hope that the motorcycles will be used correctly and the agency will take care of them so that more citizens can benefit from the motorcycles,” Artes, speaking to Eala, said. The MMDA officially opened the academy on Sept. 27 in Pasig City, aiming to provide basic knowledge on handling and operating motorcycles with a focus on safe riding.
The two-day course includes Basic Road Emergency Response, Road Traffic Rules and Regulations, Motorcycle Orientation on basic parts, control and operation of motorcycles, demonstration of static position and moving position, and Motorcycle Skills Practice and Demonstration.
